Let's take a moment to appreciate

the things that have been

happening in your life recently.

Today's theme is appreciating

the gift of animals in our lives.

As always, if you would like

to journal along, you can pause

after each prompt to give yourself

more time to write and reflect.

First, let's take a deep breath in.

And out.

Whether you have a pet at home

or not, there are many wonderful

opportunities to appreciate all the

gifts we receive from animals each day.

If you have a pet at home, think about

a moment you shared today with them.

If you aren't a pet owner, think about

an animal you may have interacted

with today, like a dog out for a

walk, or even a funny or heartwarming

video you may have seen recently.

What was special to you about the

moment you experienced or witnessed?

What was your response to that moment?

What questions would you ask your

favorite animal if you could?

What qualities in animals do you

admire or appreciate the most?

Now with this in mind,

repeat the following phrases:

thank you for all the ways

animals make our world better.

Thank you for their unconditional love.

Thank you for their unique beauty.

Thank you for the ways in which

they bring out the best in me.

To end this session, let's

take a deep breath in.

And out.
