Let's take a moment to appreciate

the things that have been

happening in your life recently.

Today's theme is appreciating

the gift of collaboration.

As always, if you would like

to journal along, you can pause

after each prompt to give yourself

more time to write and reflect.

First, let's take a deep breath in.

And out.

Our culture often places a high value on

individualism, but there is a unique sense

of satisfaction that comes from working

together as a group to reach a goal.

Mindful attention helps us to

notice our profound connection to

everyone and everything around us.

And that fresh awareness can also help

us appreciate the gifts that we and

others bring when we work together.

Think of a time when you worked

together with a group of people

to accomplish something that

felt gratifying and meaningful.

What was your unique contribution?

And what did others contribute that

allowed you to find the right solution?

Who was helped by your collaborative work?

What did it feel like to join

with others to reach a goal?

Now with this in mind,

repeat the following phrases:

Thank you for the moments I

feel truly in sync with myself.

Thank you for the chance to notice

my connection with other people

and to recognize their gifts.

Thank you for the ways that

collaboration can multiply my

positive impact in the world.

Thank you for the sense of meaning
