A Simple Tip for More Gratitude

Personalized support for learning how to integrate mindfulness into your life. Delivered fresh everyday by our world renowned experts. Choose meditation duration:

Hey friends, welcome to your Daily Mindfulness. So I just wanted to check in with you and see how you went with bringing more gratitude and appreciation into your day, like I spoke about in yesterday's session. So don't worry if you forgot about it, or if you didn't do that session, you can always try again today. So one of the most popular and simple practices for cultivating gratitude in life and something I personally find helpful is to write down three things each day that you're grateful for. So some people even keep gratitude journals and they do this practice every day.

So why not try this for the rest of the week and see how you go with it? See what effect it has on your life. You know, gratitude is a natural antidote to feeling discontented and unfulfilled. The more you practice cultivating a sense of appreciation for the people, the events and the conditions of your life, the more you naturally unlock your capacity for joy, contentment, and presence. And the more you practice it, the easier it gets until eventually it just becomes a way of being. So in today's meditation, we'll be practicing cultivating this sense of appreciation, the sense of taking in the good, and then letting that practice flow into the rest of our day.
