Hey, welcome back to your Daily Mindfulness. I'd like to invite you to just take a moment to settle in. Maybe we could take a deep breath together. In through the nose. Out through the mouth.

I just want you to get in touch with yourself, the felt sense of being you, and what your relationship to that is. Does it feel okay to be who you are? Do you enjoy being who you are? Is there anything getting in the way of you really embodying and connecting to who you are? And whose permission do you feel like you need to be who you are? Whose permission are you waiting for to be okay with being you? Is it a parent? Is it the media? Friends? Mentor? Even your therapist? You don't have a chance of being anybody other than yourself. A lot of times where we spend so much of our lives and exhaust so much of our wellbeing trying to become someone else, not liking who we are, or not feeling like we have permission to be who we are. We might not ever get that permission from other people, but it's something that we can give to ourselves. You can't exchange your ball of clay, but you can mold the heck out of the one you've been given.

So see if you can just settle into that for a moment. Instead of fighting, resisting, waiting, just actually embodying this human that you are. Giving it a little extra love, a little self compassion. And then collaborating it to become who you want to become in the next moment, the next evolution of you. I'll talk to you a bit more in the meditation.
