Personalized support for learning how to integrate mindfulness into your life. Delivered fresh everyday by our world renowned experts. Choose meditation duration:
Hi, I'm Melli O'Brien! Welcome to your Daily Mindfulness. So over the next seven days, I'm going to be guiding you through an introduction to easing anxiety using mindfulness and meditation. So, first off, I just wanted to say: "Hey, we all experience worry sometimes, especially during the tough times." So if you're struggling with anxiety right now in your life, it's important to know that you're not alone. You know, in fact, in these fast paced, unstable and uncertain times that we're living in, millions of people are suffering from anxiety around the world. And the numbers are really rising year by year.
You know, and this is one of the reasons that it's more important than ever to learn, to train our minds so we can find more calm, more happiness, more resilience in the middle of it all. So anxiety can disturb our sleep. It can make us feel overwhelmed, burnt out and depleted, and it can really take the joy out of life. But we can train our minds unwind the habit of always racing, worrying, and ruminating through learning to rest our attention in the present moment. That's really the essence of mindfulness practice.
Every time our mind gets caught up in the thoughts and reactive patterns that begin to make us uneasy and stressed, we train in unhooking from that habit and connecting again to outcome center. So over the next seven days, we'll explore the power and the practice of becoming more present. We'll also learn how to become less reactive. How to soothe our nervous system, and how to relate to anxiety in a whole new way so that it no longer feels like an enemy you need to run from, but an ally that you can work with. So each day for the next seven days, I'm going to share a short video lesson with you followed by a guided meditation.
And that's going to take less than 15 minutes a day. But even with that small investment of time, you'll gradually begin to notice the quality of your life changing. But one thing on that note, it's really important to know that mindfulness isn't a quick fix strategy where like overnight your anxiety is going to disappear. You may find some immediate ease, but for true sustainable change, this is the beginning of a longer term move towards a sustained sense of inner peace. So, let's get started with your first meditation where we'll learn to unwind a racing mind.
And rest your attention in the present moment.

Vidyamala’s tips on catching anger as it’s happening or about to happen are great - clear, practical, and doable.
- Vicoir
The little talks before the meditations are priceless. It's like I've found my peeps. The topics, the quotes, the goals—it all makes so much sense to me, things I want to be thinking and learning about. Most importantly, the meditations are kindness-centered, which I love. It feels like a new way to approach meditation.
- Lauren
Incredible, easy to navigate app. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who wishes to reduce stress and anxiety or simply as an aid to improve overall mental health.
- Kirtus
I love how the app gives me pointers to new things to explore.
- Lydia
So calm and soothing. I love the new bundle with Kelly Boys, she’s brilliant!
- EJ
Better than Headspace. I've had the paid version of both apps, and I must say I enjoy this one better.
