Hi, welcome back to

your Daily Mindfulness.

In today's session, we're going to

talk about healing and self-love.

I'm going to start with a bold statement.

There is no amount of achievement,

healing, or growth that will

make you any more worthy of

love than you are right now.

Let's explore why that is.

One could argue, and I would argue, that

this is more of a spiritual perspective

because the reality is the outside world's

perception of our "worthiness" of love

is often if not always conditional.

And so our big work in the world

then is to see ourselves and others

through the lens of love and wisdom,

to see and connect to our inherent

worthiness that is no one's right.

More than it is our own.

That's the more spiritual perspective.

Interestingly, my experience is that

embracing this sentiment of our inherent

self-worth from the inside out, allows us

to receive more love from the outside in.

In other words, embodying our

inherent self-worth makes us

more lovable to other people.

And I believe that happens because we're

giving the other person permission to

connect to their inherent worthiness.

They're better able to love themselves

by feeling how you give yourself

permission to love yourself.

But your worthiness of love can't change.

It's already here, and it has as big of

an open door as there could possibly be.

So see if you can connect to that

in your day and in your life.

You don't need permission from

anyone to be worthy of love.

It was given to you at birth.

And our big work is reconnecting to

that over the course of our lifetime.
