Hi, and welcome to your Daily Mindfulness. You know, recently I was reminded of a simple but powerful practice, the practice of asking the question, what would love do in times of decision or challenge? So just consider for a moment the kinds of things that we often ask ourselves in those kinds of moments, the moments when we're reactive, stressed, confused or troubled. So in those moments, we often ask ourselves questions like, What should I do? What's going to happen if? Why is this happening to me? Why did they do that? And so these kinds of questions often actually just trigger us. They stimulate worry, overwhelm or feelings of disempowerment or disconnection with others. But by changing the questions we ask ourselves in those moments of choice, we can actually completely change our focus and, and our response.
So by asking ourselves a question like, What would love do. In all of those important moments of our lives, we really call forth a strength, the wisdom, and the love that's inherent in the deeper nature of who we really are. It's a way of kind of calling our whole self to the moment so that we can respond with awareness and kindness. Now asking ourselves this question could dramatically alter not only how we feel in that moment, but how we perceive the situation and how we respond to the people and circumstances around us. And we'd be, we'd be more able to lead with love in all the various dimensions of our lives.
So this week, I invite you to experiment with this really simple but powerful inquiry. See if you can remember to keep asking yourself what would love do as you interact with the people at work, at home, the strangers on the streets, and especially how you relate to yourself. You know when you look in the mirror, when you make a mistake, when you're distressed and tired, just keep asking yourself what would love do. And you might not get immediate answers to your question all the time, and that's okay. Just see if you can be willing to just kind of hang out in this inquiry and patiently and curiously, just see what arises.
So as always, thank you for your practice and your presence here with us. And just inviting you now to settle in for today's meditation.

Vidyamala’s tips on catching anger as it’s happening or about to happen are great - clear, practical, and doable.
- Vicoir
The little talks before the meditations are priceless. It's like I've found my peeps. The topics, the quotes, the goals—it all makes so much sense to me, things I want to be thinking and learning about. Most importantly, the meditations are kindness-centered, which I love. It feels like a new way to approach meditation.
- Lauren
Incredible, easy to navigate app. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who wishes to reduce stress and anxiety or simply as an aid to improve overall mental health.
- Kirtus
I love how the app gives me pointers to new things to explore.
- Lydia
So calm and soothing. I love the new bundle with Kelly Boys, she’s brilliant!
- EJ
Better than Headspace. I've had the paid version of both apps, and I must say I enjoy this one better.
