Hi, welcome back to your Daily Mindfulness. In today's session, we're going to talk about feeling good about the decisions you're making. The best decision you can make can only be evaluated in the moment. Never in hindsight, because all we can do is honor what feels true right now and trust that this is the closest thing we have to an inner compass for how to live. As we grow in life experience, what feels true will change.
But in any moment, our current truth is all we have. And it's it's enough. You will always have more context for a decision in hindsight, but you can't let that create regret, because what you know now is different than what you knew then. And as Maya Angelou said, "I did, I did, then what I knew how to do. Now that I know better, I do better.
And so, as you're making decisions in your life, notice if there can be a feeling of regret, I should have done this, or I could have done that. Of course, now that you have more understanding, you have more context, you can always look back on those decisions and say something like that, but you didn't have it in the moment and therefore it's not relevant. The only thing that is relevant is what do you know to be true right now? What are the resources you have at your fingertips in this moment and use that to make the best decision you can. And then what happens from there is, as many people would say, that's God's business. It's not up to us.
The universe will take care of, take care of it from there. All we can do align with the truth, trust the process, evaluate, generate feedback, integrate that into our process and then make the best decision now, and then now, and then now. So hope this gives you something to think about on your journey. Thank you for your practice and let's settle in for today's meditation.

Vidyamala’s tips on catching anger as it’s happening or about to happen are great - clear, practical, and doable.
- Vicoir
The little talks before the meditations are priceless. It's like I've found my peeps. The topics, the quotes, the goals—it all makes so much sense to me, things I want to be thinking and learning about. Most importantly, the meditations are kindness-centered, which I love. It feels like a new way to approach meditation.
- Lauren
Incredible, easy to navigate app. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who wishes to reduce stress and anxiety or simply as an aid to improve overall mental health.
- Kirtus
I love how the app gives me pointers to new things to explore.
- Lydia
So calm and soothing. I love the new bundle with Kelly Boys, she’s brilliant!
- EJ
Better than Headspace. I've had the paid version of both apps, and I must say I enjoy this one better.
