Hi, welcome back to your Daily Mindfulness. In today's session, we're going to talk about letting go and trusting. Have you ever noticed how you might be frustrated that you're still holding onto something, even though you desperately want to let it go? It can be easier to hold onto something that is predictable and safe, even though it feels not quite right than to let go and trust that what is truly right for us will eventually present itself. This is true for your job, a relationship, where you live, and nearly anything you can think of. Many of us don't get to experience the power of full surrender, because we don't actually allow ourselves to trust that we'll be taken care of in the biggest sense when we do let go.
In my experience, the universe takes care of a surrendered heart. But you only get to experience that if you take a leap of faith. Following what is true in your moment to moment experience is your greatest protection, and it's also perhaps the hardest work there is. So I'm right here with you navigating this journey. Thank you for your practice and for doing the work.
