Hi, welcome back to your Daily Mindfulness. In today's session, we're going to talk about navigating your internal demons. So I see many people get into an internal war with their "demons." Essentially trying to destroy them so they can find peace and clarity again. But you cannot destroy your inner demons. This is just your ego fighting your ego, and it's a never ending cycle of suffering.
In the same way that Martin Luther King, Jr said, "Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that," we must meet our frustrations with curiosity, softness, and care. It doesn't mean we endorse them, just that we recognize this to be the only way to alchemize their energy into something useful. See if you can try this perspective in today's meditation, as well as in how you relate to yourself throughout the day. Thank you for your practice and let's settle in for today's meditation.
