Hi, welcome back to
your Daily Mindfulness.
In today's session, we're going to talk
about negative thoughts and manifestation.
In one of my online retreats recently,
I received a question from a student.
And she asked, when I have a fear
based thought I'm scared that I'm
manifesting something negative
into my life, something bad.
So I wanted to share how I
responded to that since I think
many people have this fear.
My response was not to worry
because the existence of a thought
by itself is not that powerful.
Instead how we orient to that
thought has much more significance.
For instance, acceptance of a
negative thought interrupts the
negative momentum of that thought.
It exists, but no longer
with the same weight.
And therefore, no longer with
the same cause and effect power.
We're not lost in the thought.
We're just seeing it.
Oh, there's a thought.
Manifestation, AKA, how we create our life
is so much deeper than just the thoughts.
Moving through the mind.
A positive thought with unresolved deeper
emotional patterns does not cut it.
You may say you want something
in your mind, but your body
could be bracing against.
In that case, it doesn't matter how
many positive thoughts you have.
There's still something
that is pressing the brakes.
This is where and why moving toward
our pain so that it can be healed
and integrated is actually essential
for becoming more receptive to the
life we are excited to create and
want to create so that we're not
subconsciously sabotaging what we want,
even though we're thinking positive.
Fear of a fear-based thought
is reinforcing a fear loop, a
scarcity mindset, if you will.
Acceptance of a fear-based
thought is anchoring you in love,
spaciousness, empowerment, and the
understanding that you are much
bigger than your thinking mind.
So the takeaway here, how you orient
to what is arising has a much bigger
impact on what you attract into
your life than the actual content
of what moves through your mind.
Thank you for your practice.
Let's settle in for today's meditation.

The little talks before the meditations are priceless. It's like I've found my peeps. The topics, the quotes, the goals—it all makes so much sense to me, things I want to be thinking and learning about. Most importantly, the meditations are kindness-centered, which I love. It feels like a new way to approach meditation.

Better than Headspace. I've had the paid version of both apps, and I must say I enjoy this one better.
