Hi, welcome back to your Daily Mindfulness. In today's session, I want to talk about an investment opportunity for you. Yes, I do have an incredible investment opportunity for you. Investing in this will give you the biggest returns you've ever seen. Better than the stock market, better than cryptocurrency or real estate.
It will give you riches like nothing else. What's the investment? You. The investment is in you. I'm very protective of where I put my time, my energy, my money, but if there's anything I splurge on it's opportunities to develop my mind, my heart, my spirituality, my teachings, my health. I drive a base model, bare bones, stick shift, 2014 Subaru.
I have a cheap watch, an old backpack, and I've never bought a pair of jeans more than $50. Although I hear that might be a mistake because good jeans are awesome. But I will splurge on something that helps me track my sleep. I'll hire a coach if it will help me get organized. I'll take a week of valuable time and energy to go on retreat if I perceive that it will expand my heart and deepen my inner connection with peace.
This is not a video about mimicking my habits. We all have different values and loves and capacities and lifestyles. It's supposed instead about exploring where you are investing your resources and an invitation to view yourself as your greatest investment. Thank you for your practice.
