Hi, welcome back to your Daily Mindfulness. In today's session, I want to talk about the ever evolving nature of being human. So being human is an ever evolving experience, in the sense that there's no end point to who you are and what is true for you. Life, in many ways, is this continuous process of listening to what is most alive in your being right now, standing in your right to embody that truth. It's taking up space, recognizing that other humans have truths that may be in conflict with yours, and then listening and allowing yourself to be co-created through the exchange of inner and outer.
This is an ongoing process. And I think if we take the perspective that there's going to be some end point of having arrived and figured it all out, or there's no more feedback to be given, then we're going to get stuck and we're going to get frustrated and we're going to be too caught in our own ideas of what is right, what is wrong, what is good, what is bad, what you should do, what you shouldn't do. And we shut down the lines of communication and therefore make no opportunity for the development of co-created wisdom. So just holding this orientation of, oh, my humanness is this constantly evolving thing, allows us to show up with a little more fluidity where we can stand in who we are right now, and be open to who we might be becoming in the next moment. So thank you for your practice.
