In today's session, we're going
to talk about simplifying life.
Now, this will be one of those topics
that you've heard in a million different
ways in your time with Mindfulness.com and
through the various teachings we offer.
But it's one of those that's
really important to come back to.
And I don't think we can hear enough,
which is the reality that life is
always happening in just one moment.
Life is always happening
in just one moment.
It is so easy to get consumed by
and overwhelmed by all the things
that we're trying to do in life.
These could be positive things, our
future goals, what we're working toward.
It could be difficult things, things
that just feel like out of our control.
And we wake up in the morning and
it's like, how am I going to be
able to take care of all of this?
And it often feels like
we can't do it all.
The good news is, if you
can't do it all, then don't.
Just do what you're doing right now,
because that's all you can do anyway.
And so notice, even as you're listening
to this, if there is a sense of
everything that needs to be taken
care of, everything you need to do.
You hardly have time to watch
this video or do the meditation.
Yes, but you've already
allocated this time for yourself.
See if you can just be here,
just take care of this moment.
All we can do is take
care of what's here now.
And when we remember this
life becomes much more simple.
So let it unfold from there.
