Hi, and welcome to your Daily Mindfulness. Today we're going to explore what you have to offer life. So, first of all, I'd like to give you a moment to reflect on some of the ways in which you already contribute to the world around you on a daily basis because we often overlook all the ways in which we give. But just take a moment to consider now things like maybe you say thank you to a customer service person. Maybe you allow a car in, in busy traffic.
You do the dishes. Buy food for the family. You pay on time. Maybe you call your loved ones or take reusable bags when you're shopping or help a neighbor or a friend. So just take a moment to reflect now on some of the other things that you might do that are really contributions to the world around you or to your own happiness, health and wellbeing.
Like maybe you sometimes pick up rubbish when you see it. Maybe you provide a listening ear for a friend that needs support. Maybe you do many little things all through the day that contribute to raising a child or supporting a business. Or you practice mindfulness so that you can be more kind wise and harmonious in the world. Just take a moment right now to actually that yourself feel good about these everyday offerings.
Take in that sense of the goodness of your contributions. You know this is really important because so often we pick on ourselves for what we don't do good enough, what isn't right, and we might even feel like we have nothing much to offer life. You know, that our life doesn't hold much purpose or meaning. But if you can relate to each of your everyday contributions as heartfelt offerings, you can connect with a deep sense of meaning and passion and even a sense of sacredness. You can connect with that over and over again during your day day.
You can also feel a strong sense of belonging as you connect to the fact that you're part of an interconnected web of contributions going on throughout the world. Right? Like work men and women who are paving our roads, farmers who are growing our food, scientists, making new discoveries, teachers educating us what we need to know, and carpenters building furniture. Considering your contributions as your offering in an interconnected web of giving and receiving. So, this is my invitation for practice today. See if you can relate to each one of your contributions as your heartfelt offering to the world, your voluntary kindness and generosity, and allow yourself to feel good about your contributions, letting that sense of meaning and connectedness with life flow through you and into the world.
As always thank you for your practice and your presence here with us. And now let's settle in for today's meditation.

Vidyamala’s tips on catching anger as it’s happening or about to happen are great - clear, practical, and doable.
- Vicoir
The little talks before the meditations are priceless. It's like I've found my peeps. The topics, the quotes, the goals—it all makes so much sense to me, things I want to be thinking and learning about. Most importantly, the meditations are kindness-centered, which I love. It feels like a new way to approach meditation.
- Lauren
Incredible, easy to navigate app. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who wishes to reduce stress and anxiety or simply as an aid to improve overall mental health.
- Kirtus
I love how the app gives me pointers to new things to explore.
- Lydia
So calm and soothing. I love the new bundle with Kelly Boys, she’s brilliant!
- EJ
Better than Headspace. I've had the paid version of both apps, and I must say I enjoy this one better.
