Hi, and welcome to your Daily Mindfulness.
You know, there's lots of techniques for
maintaining mindfulness in your life, but
instead of focusing on how to maintain
mindfulness, let's talk about your why.
By staying here connected to your
deepest motivations for continuing with
meditation and mindful living, you're
much more likely to make room for it
in your life and keep up the practice.
You know, we're all busy these days
and we have to prioritize our time.
So it's important to know why mindfulness
matters to you enough to keep it up.
So there's many reasons
why we all keep practicing.
There's improved focus and
productivity, improved mental
wellbeing and emotional intelligence.
There's gaining more inner
calm and less reactivity.
And there's the deep healing
of old patterns and pains
that mindfulness offers.
It also offers the ability to
unlock our potential and live
our lives more deliberately.
There's also the health
benefits too, right?
Improved immune function, stress
reduction, the easing of anxiety and
depression, lowered blood pressure
and even structural changes in
the brain that lead to feelings
of positivity and resilience.
But then there's also, of course,
the fact that mindfulness offers us
the ability to have a, a love affair
with our one wild and precious life.
It allows us to wake up in the midst
of our moments to live them fully, to
feel connected, alive, and fulfilled.
So for me personally, a big part of what
motivates me is that I believe that if
I really want to change the world, if
I really want to be a part of creating
a more kind peaceful and sustainable
world, the best place to start is within.
I cultivate mindfulness and the
qualities that come with it, like
inner peace, compassion, wisdom inner
strength, because I believe that true
sustainable change in this world is
only going to happen from the inside
out, one heart and one mind at a time.
You know, as Gandhi once said,
"We need to be the change that
we want to see in the world."
So I believe I need to
start that change within me.
I believe it's the kindest thing I
can offer the world while I'm here.
So that's me.

mindfulness matters to you and why
you'll keep up the practice in your life.
So I'm just going to give you a
little pause here to contemplate.
So perhaps making an intention now
to keep your why front of mind.
Remember it, hold it close.
You know, you might like to write
