Breathing Peace

A simple breahting practice cultivate more peace and send it to others.

This is a simple, mindful breathing practice discussed by the teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh. What it involves is when breathing in, you just say to yourself like a mantra, breathing in, I feel peace. And then on the exhale, you say, breathing out, I offer peace. Breathing in, I feel peace. Breathing out, I offer peace.

So let's try that out again. Taking an inhale and repeating that phrase. And an exhale. Not only is this a good grounding exercise, but it can also help you connect to the wellbeing of other people. Breathing in, I feel peace.

Breathing out, I offer peace. You're welcome to integrate this into an existing meditation practice. Maybe a few moments at the beginning or at any time throughout the day when you have a spare minute. Thank you for your practice and take care.
