An exercise to help you stay fully focused on your breathing for just two minutes. Short, simple and grounding.
AMP_SA_Just-Breathe [00:00:00] Let's take a few moments to just breathe. Begin by checking your posture. Make sure you're comfortable and at ease. Be kind to your body. And now gently turn your attention to the sensations of your breath.
You may like to gently smile towards your breath. And you may sense your breath smiling back. Note that you don't need to do anything right now, just being mindful of your breathing. [00:01:00] Notice the sensations of your breath wherever it's most obvious for you, the nose, chest or belly, for example. See if you can manage to stay present for one full cycle of an in-breath.
And out-breath. Even being conscious for one breath is hugely beneficial. Just breathing, smiling, letting things be, just as they are, [00:02:00] just in this moment.
