Take 5

Take 5 is a simple, five-finger breathing exercise that you can utilize throughout the day to help you relax and reground yourself.

Here's a simple mindfulness

exercise called take five.

Let's try it out.

Take out your left hand and

hold it in front of you as if

you're holding a pizza pie.

Then take your right point of

finger, place it in the palm of

your hand, right around the wrist.

And what we're going to do is

slide up and down each finger,

taking an inhale and an exhale.

Let's start with the thumb.

Sliding up, breathing in.

Slide back down, exhale through the mouth.

Up the point of finger, inhale.

Back down, exhale.

Middle finger, inhale.

Back down, exhale.

Ring finger, inhale.

Back down.

And pinky.

Back down.

That's take five.

Have some fun, bringing it into your day.
