Hello and welcome. Today, we're going to take a moment to remember some special things that you can say an extra big thank you to for bringing joy into your life. Let's start by sitting or laying down in a comfy position. You can lay or sit however you like, so as long as you feel comfortable in your spot. Take your time in finding a position that feels just right for your whole body.
Let's take a big breath in through your nose. And slowly out through your mouth. One more big breath in. And slowly breathe out. Today you might have had many different emotions, happy, excited, tired, or sad.
Every feeling you experience is absolutely okay and normal to feel for your emotions are how your mind tells you what you may need in the moment. Let's say thank you to your mind for always trying to help you. Thank you. Your body has also done a big job today, moving you around to different places, each part working so well together to allow you to experience all the moments that this day brought in. Let's say thank you to your body for serving you today.
Thank you. Let's let your mind travel now to your favorite place in the whole world. Imagine being in that place. It might be somewhere quiet and safe or vibrant and full of people and things that you love. What might you hear in your favorite place? What might you smell and feel there? Let's say thank you to your favorite place for being in your life.
Thank you. Now, can you think about someone very special to you that you share lots of love and joy with? They may be a family member or a friend. Imagine that person in front of you now. Imagine in your mind your person looking at you with a big smile and opening their arms for a hug. Think about how loving it feels to cuddle your person.
Let's say thank you to your person for sharing their love. Thank you. There are so many beautiful things in your life, so many loving memories that you can think about and enjoy. Today, you might have made many kinds of memories. Some were good, and some were difficult.
You can learn from both kinds of experiences. And now, you know, more than you did the day before. Lastly, let's say a big thank you for this life and the opportunity to fully experience today. Thank you. Thank you for your practice and dedicating this time towards mindfulness today.
I hope that you've enjoyed this meditation and I'll see you again next time.
