In this meditation, we'll train ourselves to create a sense of being "home," right here and right now, even if we feel lost in life.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable posture. This could be sitting, lying down or standing. If it feels okay to do so, you can close your eyes. And we'll take a deep breath together. In through the nose.
And out through the mouth. Inviting the jaw to relax and any muscles in the face, maybe the cheeks, the forehead, or the eyes. Let the shoulders be at ease, maybe dropping an inch or two. And then the belly. Are you gripping the belly, even subconsciously? Give that permission to relax and be easy.
Nobody's looking, you can let it hang out. And of course the hands, which tend to grip when we're stressed. As we settle in, the breath can settle into its natural rhythm as well. In this meditation, we're exploring the idea that you're not lost. Even when it most feels like we are, were always here.
We can always locate ourself in the present moment. So let's connect even more deeply to being here right now. One of the quickest ways we can do that is attuning to our breath. The breath is always present and it's always a reminder that we're alive and that there's more right with us than wrong with us, as long as we're breathing So give yourself some space to just feel your body breathing. If it feels like it would be helpful for you, you can place one hand on your belly and one hand on your heart.
Letting this hold remind you that you're here right now. We might not yet understand how this moment or where we're at plays out in the bigger picture. At some point, we might understand that. But it's all just a story, all just ideas and thoughts. And so were letting some of that go in this moment and connecting to the storyless quality of presence.
Presence is always okay. It's always here. There's never any right or wrong, good or bad because its only job is to meet this moment as it is. Each breath taking us deeper into that embodiment. Let's take one more deep breath together.
In through the nose. And out through the mouth. And when you're ready, you can invite your eyes to open. Great job today. As you go about your day and you're not sure what you should be doing or where you're really going, see if you can just stop, locate yourself in the present moment.
There you will always find yourself. Thank you for your practice. And until we talk again, take care.

Vidyamala’s tips on catching anger as it’s happening or about to happen are great - clear, practical, and doable.

The little talks before the meditations are priceless. It's like I've found my peeps. The topics, the quotes, the goals—it all makes so much sense to me, things I want to be thinking and learning about. Most importantly, the meditations are kindness-centered, which I love. It feels like a new way to approach meditation.
- Lauren
Incredible, easy to navigate app. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who wishes to reduce stress and anxiety or simply as an aid to improve overall mental health.
- Kirtus
I love how the app gives me pointers to new things to explore.
- Lydia
So calm and soothing. I love the new bundle with Kelly Boys, she’s brilliant!
- EJ
Better than Headspace. I've had the paid version of both apps, and I must say I enjoy this one better.
